This activity for pharmacists, pharmacy leaders, and pharmacy technicians will be led by a five-member faculty team. The session will give background information on standardization of medication concentrations and processes and demonstrate interactive techniques to customize practice workflows.

Target Audience
This activity was planned to meet the educational needs of pharmacists, pharmacy leaders, and pharmacy technicians in the area of medication safety, focused specifically on the value of incorporating standardized medication concentrations and standardized processes in workflows.

Apply best practices in IV preparation that promote the safety of patients and healthcare personnel.
Use guideline-directed best practices for IV administration/infusion technologies that promote the safety of patients and healthcare personnel.
